Adalynn Grace

Beautiful Adalynn Grace was born today!

I love birth photography, to be a witness to such a miracle is amazing. I have been "on call" for about a week, Adalynn's due date was February 15th! I finally got the call today and rushed over to the hospital. Adalynn waited a few more hours, but when she decided to be born, she didn't waste any time.

Mamma was a trooper, she did her job well. Dad was so proud to hold his little baby girl, and just stared into her newly opened eyes. Adalynn was 8lbs 14oz and 22in long. She has the longest toes and fingers and the chubbiest cheeks, and strong lungs! One of the first things she did was reach up and touch her Mamma's face. So sweet!

The best moment was when her older brother got to see her for the first time, and give her a present. And he had picked out flowers for his mom as well. Then, in came the grandparents, and it was such a lovely time of tears, smiles, kisses and hugs (and big brother getting a cool present, too!).

Angie and Andy, thank you SO much for allowing me in the delivery room to cover this moment of your family's life. I'm so honored to have been a part of it.

Welcome Baby!

Baby Mallory was born this morning! She is so tiny and sweet, and with such a head of hair already! I wish Erica and Andy all the best as they get to know their new daughter. Here are some pictures from this morning's session. Enjoy!

Juliette Grace

Baby Juliette was born on Thursday, and I was fortunate enough to take her first portraits!

Jaclyn pretty much had a perfect delivery. Her water broke early, and she only needed to push four times! I believe the quote after she had Juliette was, "that's it?" Jaclyn, you truly are a rockstar!

My favorite moment was seeing Joey become a new daddy and just melt as he looked at his baby girl. It was so sweet to see his big strong hand caressing her head with such gentleness. And Grandma Jule jumping up and down with tears in her eyes was pretty fun to witness as well! Grandpa Steve was already showing pictures of the pirate ship playground they're getting the baby, and uncle Brent got to hold a baby for the first time! Oh, and I loved watching new auntie Kristine say, "I LOVE her!" over and over again =)

Thank you so much for including me in this wonderful moment of your lives! Here are my favorite images!

Sweet Parker

Parker was born today! And he is one lucky kid, he will be surrounded by a large, loving family, and raised by a very proud mamma and pappa. I was blessed to be able to meet little Parker when he was just a few hours old, and capture some of his first moments.

I love the progression we get to see from our clients. We have photographed Katie and Ron's wedding, their pregnancy, and now their first son's newborn images. Building relationships like this is why we are in this business, as is being a part of these intimate family moments.

Katie and Ron, here are our favorites from today. Enjoy!

The Reason We Love Birth Photography!
Welcome to the World!

Little Alexandra was born this morning to Mike and Jessica. We had shot their pregnancy pictures just a week or so ago, so we did that just in the nick of time!

Though the horrible traffic prevented me from being at the birth, I was able to get there right after for Alexandra's first baby pictures and to get images of her big brother meeting her for the first time.

Jessica had a great birth and everyone was happy and healthy, and tired =) Alex opened her little eyes at the end and was so sweet and delicate. I was so honored to be a part of that amazing family moment!

Witnessing a Miracle

I was so blessed to be able to photograph a birth tonight. It has been quite a few hours since little Eisley was born and I'm still grinning ear to ear =)

Alyssa did an amazing job, and Eric was a fantastic support. I was just overcome being in the delivery room and observing these moments with my camera. The best was when little Emmett met his baby sister for the first time and introduced himself. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her.

The room was full of beaming grandparents and happy family, and this was such a joyful occasion.

Thank you so much for allowing me to share this wonder with you! Here are my favorite images of the night.
